Most of these families ended up in the Jefferson, Shelby, or St Clair counties in Alabama. Most migrated from Georgia or Tennessee in the 1800's. Earlier records indicate that many of our lines actually began in Virginia or North Carolina. Some of our linage has been traced back to Ireland and Holland with some dates as early as the mid 1500's.
